THE As HAVE IT! It’s a two horse tussle between the consortia Alpha and Axiom for the Public/Private Partnership construction contract for P&K’s new schools - including Breadalbane Academy. At long last there’s a chance for the community to see the rival proposals on 13 April at Aberfeldy Recreation Centre from 6pm to 9pm.

IT IS OVER A YEAR since Highland Perthshire was first alerted to the proposals for two gigantic wind farms on the hills between Aberfeldy, Crieff and Dunkeld.  A decision on the proposals for Griffin Wind farm, 82 turbines over 400ft in height, and Calliachar Wind Farm, 27 turbines over 330ft high, has yet to be made by Perth and Kinross Council
